Urooj Mazhar

A marketing graduate, Urooj is always involved with marketing and creativity. A keen mind for the strategic side of things, she brings a diverse background seen both sides of the training world (trainee and trainer). She successfully led Beyond Beauty, a residential women empowerment conference. As one of the initiators of ExtraCorp she has launched 5 businesses: Bäckerei, Blaze, Rageela, Write Away and Pleasures. Urooj strives to change the way people think about persons with disabilities. 

At SoL, she has also been facilitator and advisor at Young Leaders' Conference. While training she’s been around the globe with UNDP from Srilanka to Thailand and within Pakistan, serving teams and clientele diverse in nationalities and stratum.

Personal and social development as her forte, Urooj works within and outside of our doors with energy, joviality, passion, integrity and flexibility. For her outstanding she has been acclaimed with ‘Youth Icon’ award in 2007.

 

Umair Jaliawala

Umair is a believer, and one of his beliefs is that paradigms and perceptions don’t change facts. He makes his audience believe in themselves. To him, facts, no matter how brutal, turn on the infinite potential present in all of us. He is about revising the basics. To him good answers come from a good question. Being a student of religion, business, philosophy and psychology, he integrates all of them to lead a group to pragmatic action plans. His training route is in the face, direct and heart hitting.

He has proudly led 300 youth to feel, focus and fly in YLC 2006, a 6 day intensive training conference.

His core areas of training are ‘Top Performance', 'Principle-centered Living' and 'Business Development'. His sessions are a rollercoaster journey of change, exercises/games, questions, quotes, challenges and realizations. Get ready for a bewitching experience! Get ready to be turned!
